Access: where can we get our tractor in? Typically need 8’ from the street all the way to the pool. It turns like a truck so no sharp turns. We can get in smaller spaces with a smaller machine. Some pools require a Hand Dig. Do we need to remove one or more sections of fence to get in the back yard?
Depth: Traditional is usually 3 ½’ X 6’ or any depth on the deep end less than 6’. Deep end pool can be 3 ½’ x 7’, 3 ½’ x 8’ and so on. Sport pools are usually 3 ½’ x 5’ x 4’, 3 ½’ x 5.5’ x 4’ or any combination.
Gas and Electric Meter Location: we need to verify their locations to calculate gas plumbing and electric footage.
Coping Options: the pool coping is the edge around the top of the gunite shell; typically flagstone or travertine.
